Personally, I have always rated Diego Forlan, Ruud Van Nistelroy and Gabriel Heinze irrespective of their history. Any one of them could do a job for City in the same way that Dennis Law and Brian Kidd have done in the past.

I met Forlan whilst I was on a residential course with work at the Airport Four Seasons Hotel back in 2002.

I think it was he was in his first season with the Rags, his English wasn't bad and he used sit in the residents bar with a couple of his entourage and his pint of orange cordial.

He was a good laugh and seemed very keen to join in the banter and always wanted to find out the best establishments in Manchester to meet the ladies?

A down to earth bloke who would probably fit in quite well with the current crop.

Lucien Mettomo was staying there as well, saw him in the restaurant of few times in his traditional african dress.

Yes please, he's absolutely amazing in Atletico at the moment. I've seen some totally insane goals from him this season. He is an ex-rag though and I'm sure there are many others to go for. £30 sounds ludicrous anyway, definitely just made up.

tbh I dont think its ridiculous at all, i think £30 seems about right
