If we got him that would be an excellent signing and a perfect replacement for Paddy V. Holds a side together very well like Barry but gets forward like Vieira did in his pomp. I doubt the rumours are true as i think he will be off to some obscure country where Barca will get the highest fee.

Yes it was. Keita was an utility player all along. Never challenged Yaya, and mostly played in Iniesta's position on the squad. Either Iniesta was moved into one of the 3 striker roles or he was out injured and Keita got some minutes.

But that is exactly what we do need, especially if Tevez stays. We are still 2-3 quality players short of the numbers that the Rags and Chelski have. We need plenty of back-up for injuries and suspensions. Looking at the way refs are currently booking players for good sliding tackles, I can see NDJ missing quite a few games in the months ahead.
