Don't know about anybody else but i much prefer us getting young players such as this guy, Biton and that Omah guy instead of a £20+ million player

Not really, 9 out of 10 of these players never reach the heights that everyone thought they could reach, Chelsea have been buying loads of young players since there take over and none have really come through.

If Chelsea had given Borini a chance they'd have saved themselves a lot of money as he has been a better goal scorer than Torres lately and has just joined Liverpool for over £10million! Sometimes the kids just need a chance but the clubs don't allow it and regret it later on (Real Madrid are the worst for it... Eto'o, Mata, Cambiasso, Negredo, Javi Garcia, Soldado... all ended up £15million+ players and they ended up buying back Cambiasso).
