Anyone used SeatGeek before?

What's the setup like?

Danny Wilson, operations director at Manchester City, said: "At Manchester City we’re committed to developing the fan experience in all aspects of our operation, and see our ticketing systems as an integral part of this.

"SeatGeek are a recognized industry leader with an excellent track record of providing innovative ticketing software, so we’re incredibly excited to kick-off this new partnership."

Manchester City join a growing number of UK clubs that use SeatGeek, including 25 percent of the Premier League.

Anything better than the current ticket website.

Don't think it's a viagogo thing with extra fees or out.

I hope it is better than the current site. That is based on Flash and can’t be used with Apple devices. It also refuses to work with my Windows 10 PC so I have to dig out my old Windows 8 laptop. On a Windows 10 pc all I get is an error message telling me to upgrade to the latest version of Flash.

“We want to provide the ultimate fan experience...”

No Danny. We don’t need the ticket-buying process to be an “experience”. We just want it to work properly, so we can do things like buy tickets on iPads and get them delivered to us before the game they’re needed for.

I always get the same errors on Firefox and Chrome. Only ever seems to work on Internet Explorer, which is a steaming pile of shite.

FFS! How can this possibly be a good thing for fans? Am I to believe that every aspect of our ticket website, which I've never had a problem with, is going to be replaced by some 3rd party enterprise that will clearly not be offering their services for free!

Stop being so negative pb! Every time I have dealt with Danny and his team they have been absolutely first class.
