Whilst a 'fan experience' isn't everyone's thing I think we need to acknowledge that new technology (geolocation, AI etc) can provide an enhanced engagement with the club for those who want it. Personally i feel the current experience beats negotiating the metal steps at the back of the Platt Lane and then breaking both knee caps when attempting to sit down on the wooden 'pews' and dodging Bovril/dog shit (delete as appropriate) on the cobbles behind the Scoreboard (north stand).
Whilst many of our middle aged or older fans may yearn for those days, the future lies with a younger generation of fan (clearly a minority currently).
However, it could well be ticket prices and purchasing process that is putting off said demographic so this part of the business should be a basic requirement rather than an experience and i agree that this process should have a higher priority than any creative technology engagements.
