He wasn't out of contract. Clubs in Holland cannot offer a contract to kids under the age of 16. PSV was already in contract discussions with him when he turned 16 on the 12th of October.Scio said:Signed for Ajax due to future plans with him and the fact that old players are running the place now. Gentlemens agreement is totally gone now, although the kid was out of contract since october. Strange thing...Ajax and Feyenoord never mess with each other when it comes to youth players, while both PSV and Ajax are constantly messing with each other.
He received concept-contracts from City but I don't know if he signed them.sincity said:How can Ajax sign him if we have supposedly got him on a pre-contract? Or was that just BS from journos?

I'm not sure how smart this move is going to be for Bazoer. He cannot move clubs before 1-7-2013 and PSV have already stated that they are not going to play him anymore. Being 16 years old and not playing for 8/9 months cannot be good for his development.
He's getting a lot of abuse (not racial btw) already by PSV fans and his teammates and coaching staff aren't very likely to be impressed as well.
