City Treble documentary | Club sell rights to Netflix for seven figure sum | To be aired in April (p5)

Watched the first 4 - don’t know what I was expecting but just feels the same as watching an inside City video or an end of season review from the website. Not sure what if anything Netflix have added to this other than putting their name on it and giving us a load of cash for the privilege.

Obviously the best is still to come in the final 2 episodes but so far it’s decent but not spectacular in my opinion.

Love the insight of Pep getting pissed off at HT/FT when we were under performing. The doc also rams home how much we miss Gundo and Mahrez for their goals and creativity this season.

Just watched the first two. I can only imagine Peps rage at half time in some of our games this season. No wonder he’s losing his voice at times.

On a side note anyone know why Pep always seems to struggle to suppress a cough? Had that myself before it’s a horrible feeling.

Yes, sometimes our lack of concentration this season has cost us stupid points. I've been raging myself so I'm sure Pep has at the players.

On the cough I've had it forever, especially at night. My parents reckon I had it as a child but I can't remember. One doctor did suggest I might have coughing asthma about twenty years ago but I declined an inhaler as I didn't think it was too bad. A change in temperature from hot to cold and vice versa, or coming out of the shower triggers it too. Talking a lot makes it worse, so I'd imagine Pep after games and in press conferences will irritate it a lot.

Absolutely loved this. Binge watched the lot in one go. Only slight ( and it is slight) criticism is why did they have to show a certain game from 1999 - and a club who shouldn’t be mentioned at all except in Derby games - lifting a trophy of which we are the current holders. No need for them to be anywhere near our treble doco.
They were showing that game from way back when to emphasise the magnitude of what we were about to achieve.

On a similar theme the description of the "historical" Manchester rivalry seemed to start around 1992
No mention of Bell, Lee, and Summerbee and the great battles against Charlton Law and Best.
Not even a simple statement of fact that United haven't always enjoyed the higher average attendances.

There was a clip of Denis's backheel...
