City treble

I never usually back city but i was gonna back them to get a top 4 finish only to find the odds were gash, so seeing as most people think we are capable of having decent cup runs im gona back us for the cup double and a top 4 finish, a tad optimistic but a good interest bet. Has any one had a simalar bet and what price did you get?

I never did place that bet since i got laughed at but just wondered if it still sounds as ridiculous now as it did then.

Not as ridiculous as the Robinho bet and thats the one most folk wanted to back!
To be honest if I would of seen the thread back then the Robbie bet would of been the one I thought had most value.

Back in July I backed City to win two separate doubles, the FA cup and finish fifth or better, and another double on the Carling and finish fifth or better.

We were 6/4 without the big four and 12/1 for the FA and 9/1 for the Carling.

Didn't take the treble. Wish I had now.

You did say it's an interest bet so its not going to be a mortgage job anyway (is it?). Imagine the joy at resurrecting this thread (not to mention collecting the cash) if it comes off. We are already in the semi finals of the Carling Cup and in with a great shout of finishing top four so the FA Cup is the long shot out of the three.

I got us to win the league with a 13 point handicap, at 16-1. Which is looking a decent bet as it stands...
