City & United final PL positions scenario

The most important criteria for a successful season relate to being champions of (Greater) Manchester and finishing above United in the league is a key indication for this, so yes!

No. I saw united get relegated in 1974 and thought "well, that's the end of them". It wasn't. As far as the media were concerned the second division suddenly became the new first division. More so, as united had the time and space to rebuild and still romp it. I know the financial implications are worse now, but they seem to be exempt from controls so I'm not sure they would suffer as much as they should.

I'd gladly see them rot in the lower reaches of the PL.
No Europe, no money. A few years of that kind of reduced income would make their ability to pay off interest on their capital debt and at the same time maintain a high wage bill very difficult indeed.

Some very big chickens would be coming home to roost.

Seeing the likes of Goldbridge the **** and other cockernee social media platforms like "flying pig" utterly shitting themselves is a joy to behold. Flex, fat **** Howson, Makola, KG, the Korean gimp who likes strangling large soft toys, weed addled, Jamaican, Chicago Bulls hat wearing twats and that ginger ****, Home Counties Alice no tits, Webby and shoe sized IQ O'Neil, hippy haired Brian from the "Young Ones" lookalikee and squeaky voiced Tate along with the mainstream media arselickers, Andy Mitten, Alex Crook, Andy Goldstein, Mark Ogden, can all lick my sweaty ballsack. You're fucking shit! Deal with it.

Always in your shadow eh? Do fuck off you arrogant pricks.

Your 20 times will be equalled this year as well by those scouse cunts, bite down on that as well.

Watching them eviscerate you lot in a bloodbath at Anfield next week will be the pièce de résistance. Enjoy you red cunts.

These are my thoughts too. Think they’d romp the Championship and would have momentum when they came back, fuelled no doubt by the media. If they went down for a season, which is the most likely outcome, it would do them a favour and their fans would actually enjoy the experience.

I think I’d rather they stayed in PL purgatory.

United are an irrelevance at the moment and their predicament and potential demise, whilst highly amusing, doesn't benefit us as a club.
My main concern is improvement in our performances and to finish the season strongly and challenge for the top 4 and trophy / trophies.

Aren't the parachute payments for relegated clubs more than what the teams immediately above them get just for staying up?

My concern with the scum getting relegated is it could be the catalyst for the massive change the club needs, where as mid-table obscurity and irrelevance could continue indefinitely, a slow painful lingering state of moribund purgatory.

The FOC's amongst us will clearly remember that after being relegated to the then second division, the media wankfest was insane when the rags started to win a few games
Now we have the interweb, if it happened again the world would be flooded with cum, so I'm more than happy for them to continue struggling to achieve mediocrity in the prem

The horrible scum booing off their player after half an hour. The client embarrassing media like Media just says the rags really got behind their team in the 2nd half. Hopefully, things will go from bad to worse for them.
