Don't really disagree but Pep was definitely playing games yesterday. That line up was so weak it's hard to believe the season starts in 6 days time.

There was never enough time to change from Pellegrini's team to Pep's in this summer. It will have to happen during the season.

But he's not playing games he is learning something about his players & trying to work something out. Just because we don't know what he is working on doesn't mean he is just on a jolly.

He doesn't work like that.

This is essentially what I need to keep reminding myself of. There's some stuff going on that feels totally counter intuitive to me. At times I get this horrible sense that this is going to be Pellegrini all over again. Got to keep reminding myself that this is a different kettle of fish and that he knows what he is doing.
