Fanzone Danny Twitter page by any chance? I believe he is being wound up....
I'd normally be a little cautious about stuff like that but I've had a suspicion for a while that RVP won't figure on Sunday and posted this somewhere a couple of days ago.

Could be wrong and all that but it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if he came down with a not-too-serious, keep-him-out-for-a-couple-of-weeks type injury.

So, the plot thickens

They maintain a good list on their OS and ther'es nothing on there about RVP. Its updated for Santos.

Van Persie is match fit. Apparently Barca are chasing him now that Villa is injured though.

I can't see them not playing RVP, it would take away their main or arguably only goal threat. Arsenal as a side are not good at defending, especially against big teams like us. If they play without RVP they are attempting to shut up shop like so many seem to be doing against us now (it's only bad when we did last season), but that doesn't seem the Arsenal/Wenger way.

I hope with all their injury concerns we can utterly smash them, I'd have De jong on the pitch to man mark RVP and then also let AJ start on the right against whoever their make shift LB is, he'll likely be able exploit them and create lots of havoc to the Arsenal defense likely set up for a narrow game. It's the right sort of game for AJ to prove we want him, trust him and to prove to us he can deliver when it's needed. But to be honest AJ starting is about as likely as Yaya being on the bench, at this rate would not be surprised if he handed in a transfer request.

aj wont put in a requestsince hes just signed a new contract,aj wil be a sub and come on if needed he knows his role he better as sub rather then playing a full game.as said he knows the score simples.

Johnson joined Man City from Middlesbrough in January 2010, and has since gone on to win nine England caps, scoring two goals, and the 24-year-old believes he is in the right place to challenge for trophies and medals.

Speaking to the club's official website, Johnson said: "I wouldn't have signed if I didn't see a big future here.

"This is such an exciting time to be at the club, things are moving so fast and there's been something new every day in the two years since I've been here."<br /><br />-- Fri Dec 16, 2011 1:26 pm --<br /><br />also, just had a look at their forum and there are some funny comments on there, e.g 'Zabaleta will probably dive all over the place and try to get someone sent off' ... but the best one has to be:

'Think the 16.10 kick off time will be an advantage, in matches kicking off at the hour, we're always sloppy the opening 10 minutes'

what is that about?

Interesting to hear wenger talk about yaya toure. Said they had an agreement with him when he was in belgium, but couldnt get work permit. Then he became impatient and went to Ukraine. Said he's a top player, his problem back then was he could play in too many positions and didnt have set position. Also said he's a top class player. Said he didnt know where to play him, but in a pre season against barnet played as second striker for Arsenal

Asked if he played well. he said he was completely average on the day lol

I too feel this would be a good game for Johnson to start, but I'm not so sure he will. More likely to start against Stoke or WBA
