Re: Views on upcoming game

Some scary quotes in there:

-- "I think Song is gonna show Yaya up and him and Arteta are gonna dominate the midfield"
-- "eveywhere else on the piutch I don't feel they have anything on us"
-- "I think we need to take a leaf out of their book and play the majority of the game counter-attacking"
-- "I've not been convinced by Hart from set-pieces at all"
-- "we can exploit their dodgy full backs"
-- "(City) give the impression of being flat track bullies"
-- "City aren't nearly as good as they think they are"
-- "Not that worried about Silva, he will struggle against us imo."
-- "Hope they don't play the boring **** football like they did last year. Dull."
-- "I'm expecting another cagey affair where they'd sit back and be patient and look for opportunities through counters and set pieces"
-- "RVP hattrick against City would be awesome ... His celebration should be to spit in Nasri's face too"
-- "Maybe if RvP scores, he should use that part of his body to hurt nasri with?
So a header and he headbutts him, etc."
-- "This year now im just hoping that anyone wins apart from city"
-- "i'd rather spurs win the league than city"
-- "I can't see anything but a win here"
-- etc

... there also seem to be quite a few guys on there who are still convinced that City are a very defensive side ... after our start to the season ?

No way we'll go with 4 attckers against arsenal, Mancini will play with milner, yaya and then barry or de jong with silva, aguero and either dzeko or ballotlli.

Hart
Richards Kompany Lescott Zaba

Milner Barry

Yaya

Silva Balo Aguero

Re: Views on upcoming game

Not one of them clowns are predicting they get beat!!!

What's our current home league form?..... Isn't it something like 10 straight wins. 40-odd scored with about 5 conceded. That for me is fine form and not to be sniffed at.

Of course they are one of the better teams, and perhaps have a chance, but some of them are completely deluded and think they only need to turn up.

Not one person, after we beat them 1-0 at the Emirates, their own pitch, thinks we can beat them and .. they are coming to the Etihad where we tend to score most of our goals consistently per game. Either these fans are crackhead insane or they are dumb as f*** and pretty unrealistic ... probably the latter.

Jesus wept...I will have to check the league table just to make sure we are not in the bottom three.

I hope Nasri starts, I think he'll be fired up for this one!

-----------------Hart
-Richards-Kompany-Lescott-Zabaleta
------------De Jong--Barry
-------Silva----Aguero---Nasri
-----------------Dzeko

Feel bad subbing Yaya but I do think we need to let him have a break. De Jong will keep things tight and just dish the ball to Barry/Silva/Nasri

I just feel the movement of Silva & Nasri could cause havok with Dzeko & Aguero linking up. Winning forumla for me.

I've heard that Yaya has it written in his contract to start every game when available?

Van Persie is there only threat, we will run the midfield and we need to keep strong at the back to stop Van Persie getting any chances and we need a bit of support for Zabaleta at left-back maybe tell Barry to come across

-- Wed Dec 14, 2011 9:11 pm --

Van Persie is there only threat, we will run the midfield and we need to keep strong at the back to stop Van Persie getting any chances and we need a bit of support for Zabaleta at left-back maybe tell Barry to come across

Re: Views on upcoming game

Hey, Joleon will have Van Rapist in his back pocket!

That pish aside, it's going to be a tough game. We need a result just to keep the vultures at bay (Mirror, Mail etc are just waiting for us to lose a couple on the trot).
