City v Arsenal pre-match thread

Unless we could offload fullbacks there was no room in the squad to bring fullbacks in. Next summer they will be out of contract and we will bring some in. You may not want to give somebody recognised as the best coach in football any time, luckily the club are a little more farsighted and won't throw the toys out when it doesn't all happen now.
Lets hope I am wrong. Perhaps I have higher expectations and less tolerance.

I am dreading the game. Our suspensions and injuries make it tough as it is. Arsenal's style of play will cause our system no end of problems. I sincerely hope I am wrong!

By any reasonable analysis bearing in mind our resources & players,the club has underachieved since 93-20.

Bobby Manc asked the club to sign Hazzard or Sanches,Javi Martinez,Van Persil & Daniel de Rossi. He got none,it was the beginning of the end for Bobby & we've gone backwards ever since instead of winning at least 1 more Championship & 2 FA Cups.

We've waited 4 years for Pep and ,in my opinion,should be doing better than we are. There's no guarantee next season won't be another season of 'settling'in for new players and more progress for other teams. Is this going to be another wasted season and missed opportunity....jam tomorrow ?

We need some good luck for a change.

This season already;

  • shocking refs
  • more injuries
  • rage by players
  • LCFC play well for one game ( normality returning at Stoke )
  • Chelsea getting lucky against us ( KDB, put it in the fecking net ! )
They say you make your own luck,lets hope so and lets hope Pep can find the recipe.
