He's been poor recently, he shouldn't start because of his price tag...+ price doesnt equate to quality these days, we have a £32million-£42million CB on loan at a relagation battling Valencia

I would imagine to prevent him from relatively mindless abuse when he makes one mistake, inevitably ending in a goal, whilst he's covering for the rest of the inept defence. Playing in this back four could break stones for good. He's the sort of defender who seems to need a commanding presence next to him. He's only young and needs to develop, there's a sense of thowing him to the wolves playing him in this team.

Don't like the line up to be honest. Sterling on the left never works, no focal point. On paper looks like we'll be torn a new one by Arsenal on the counter with Iwobi Sanchez & Walcott.

Watford's league position suggests otherwise, as does their victory in their match previous to ours.

Still, I am sure we want the same thing but there is constant pessimism on here, unwarranted pessimism IMO.

Agree entirely. Too late to worry now. But if it gets tough we can bring him on. I just give up,

He's making a number of costly errors in every game on average, why should we risk him against Arsenal simply to justify his price tag? He's young, he'll come around, but for this game Stones is an additional gamble in an already depleted City side.

Not at all happy with the back 4 but what can you do when Kompany injures himself everytime he farts and when our director of football thought it was acceptable to go in to the season with only 3 centrehalfs and 4 fullbacks over the age of 31.

Not expecting anything from this game just hope we aren't humiliated like we were against Leicester.

I miss the days where we didn't care who the opponent was and what our line up was, we'd almost always win at home.

Poor transfers have left us so vulnerable when we have injuries and suspensions.

i think it is a must win. A loss leaves 10pts off top and a draw leaves 9. Both will take some doing to crawl back with how Chelsea are doing.
