well, i'm really looking forward to the game (as long as my chest infection doesn't see me off overnight).

3-1 and a bit more of this type of hilarity

That'd require someone who is good in the air

Status Quo at City Square - what is the club thinking. Red Bastards - hope they get bottled off.

To be fair, they're missing Ramsey, Cazorla, Mustafi and Welbeck themselves.

I'd be inclined to agree if it was Ozil and Sanchez. In my opinion their 2 best players.

Aguero and Fernandinho, again just my opinion, are our 2 best players.

They have injuries but they haven't lost the ones who make them tick.

Fuck all the negativity Everton turned them over in midweek our 2nd strings better than Everton we have enough to beat these cockney ****s come on city

Step back and ask why most are so pessimistic?
Just for myself. Primarily because we dont have a good enough keeper. Also I think we should have addressed the defence PRE-SEASON.
I also think expectations were too high - but why not. We spent a fortune..and to date little return. It reminds me of brexit lots of suggested benefits nothing tangible and 10 years to wait. Given my age I want it now.
Lets hope Jesus is the one success! Well I can hope.

interesting point regarding the new signings after beating Barca , they were managerial masterstrokes six games later we have "little return" ,and does our "fortune" included jesus , zinchenko and Moreno about £35m who have'nt kicked a ball in anger yet so "little return" presumably doesnt include these players . Stones has made a couple of mistakes that have led directly to goals (less than Cahill at Chelski) Bravo cocked up against Rags in his first game a misunderstanding with our central defender (we still won the game) and sent off at Barca (we still qualified)
Expectations ? we will keep our challenge going for the title , and Monaco was a very decent draw so if we win and get another good draw in the quarter finals ,by Feb
Pep will have the team on his wavelength and defending as a team , and we will then have a great chance of winning the Champs league with a proven manager and possibly a couple of defensive reinforcements . Much like Brexit perhaps we should give it a bit more than six months . Respect your opinion but i just do not agree with all the negativity regarding our club at the moment. Where's that positive thread when you need it ?
