City V Bayern Champions League Final

On what basis is it bad ? what is your reasoning to see such circumstances as bad.
Sniff sniff.
Definately a conflict of interest to have signed a contract with City and be employed in a CL final playing against them. Thats my reasoning. Not rocket science really.,

What a pile of bollocks. Many people have to give notice when working and they don't just switch off and stop doing the job they're being paid for. They're all professionals and nothing will get in the way of that. If we play BM in the CL, Guardiola will be doing all he can to win, as will Pellegrini, which is exactly how it should be.
You will find there are many that echo the same thoughts. and I agree.

we will get bayern and as proffesionals both pep and pellers will try to win it.
though crazy scenarios will then be dreamt up like nonsense below

we finish 5th bayern sack pep paranoid he will throw it, so txiki being a right chancer sacks pellers and appoints pep who then wins the final for us securing champs league football and our press go full on city are twats for betraying pellers
IMO Txiki wouldn't sack Pellers even if Bayern did sack Guardiola. However I would luv it, luv it, if your scenario came to pass.

I predicated a Bayern vs City final when we won the group ad people scoffed. i can honestly see it happening and the papers would love it.

We lose we get slagged, we win we get slagged for getting rid of Pellers. Win-win for them!

IF we won it, the wider issues wouldn't bother me one bit. That would be for another day. We would be champions of Europe for the first time. We would have truly completed the journey. From York away to sporting epiphany. I'm not sure I'd ever feel quite the same watching City again. Deep down I probably haven't since QPR in 2012. But we haven't won it and have a massive amount of work to do. We are fourth favourites at the moment and rightly so.

Even if Pep did want to "throw it" (which he never would), the likes of Lahm, Mueller and Neuer would not let him sabotage their campaign.

And even if Pellegrini won it, it doesn't mean to say that the time is not right for a change. The classic case here is Roberto Di Matteo in 2012. Chelsea couldn't not appoint him after that cup double but it may still not have been the right thing.

Based on what? both of these managers are noted for their integrity and that certainly includes being a professional in the job they are highly paid for; not to mention being under the microscope on a public level.
You are assuming the worst based on nothing evidence based that i can see.

If,IF we were to meet and beat Bayern in the final.....fuck me,if you think we get it bad off the media now,you just wait and see IF that happens.
It most certainly won't be recognised by the British media, press etc...IMO.
