City v Boro post match

2 wins out of our last 9 fixtures in all competitions, conceding 14 goals.

I feel for Pep as he desperately needs to improve our defence which has been sadly allowed to seriously deteriorate.

One thing that is not up for debate is that he has a job on his hands
He should have improved the full back situation immediately, there really is no excuse on that front. It should have been the number one priority.

Thats the spirit mate lol

It's a fair point, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal have all improved since the start of the season. The same cannot be said of us.
Let's see what reaction we get in the next 2 away games.

Frustrating stuff that today. Sick of watching teams park the bus, it's just fuckin boring now.

We haven't improved?

Really?

I disagree completely.

Full back positions (moreso LB) have been a problem for at least 3 seasons and every summer our answer to that problem has been to buy some more attacking midfielders.

It really is that simple.

Yep, for me too.

All this chat of wrong line up, wrong player, wrong tactics, etc is just noise. We need to shape up at the back, cut out the silly fucking errors and start and start taking our chances.

Had we done that the game would have finished five or six one, not 1 fucking 1. Frustrating.

Strongest team should have started today. Decent first half, dire second half. Tiredness evident throughout after Tuesday (despite 3 full days off) but we have to see these games out. 3 points out of the last 9 at home against 3 mid table teams simply not good enough. Aguero's body language really poor today. Clichy once again exposed at the far post for their equalizer. Navas should have been left on to keep them penned back and exploit space.

I thought the starting 11 looked pretty decent, but the substutions were poor - too late, and the wrong players.

Apart from that, something is going wrong - we can't score from dozens of chances, yet the opposition seem to score from just a handful. Other top teams have that problem though - it would be nice if City/Pep could find a solution.

Frankly, I wouldn't fancy our chances of beating any of that three at the moment....not with our dodgy defence that is. I'm sure blueinsa would have us sticking 5 past each of them however
