City v Bournemouth post match

No we don't. Chelsea played a fuck sight worse than we did today and won in plenty of games last season. Leicester the same the year before. Chelsea again the year before that.
What the fuck are you on about? Granted we won today and I am extremely glad for that but we were nowhere near good enough. And Chelsea were not worse than us last year. They just knew what to do once Conte figured out his team. They were extremely efficient. Give credit where it's due and take of your blue tinted specs for once.

We're looking quite disjointed because of the new way we are playing. Will take a while before we get use to all these risky passes.

Our tempo is slow, and we like to walk the ball into goal. Hopefully we'll sort these out soon.

Good test today. Bernado Silva is class, just wished he would still continue growing though. He's just so small. 3 points all that counts.

How Mike Dean did today:

Game 3:, Bournemouth away: No freekick for G. Jesus at 17 minutes, No freekick after failed advantage, Defore offside (no flag), no freekick for G. Jesus after two footed tackle from behind from Ake, Bournemouth player dives and gets freekick, Jesus gets fouled through on goal and Ake only gets a yellow, No corner for City after Bournemouth deflection of Jesus shot, After fouls D. Silva but no foul given, no freekick for Fernandinho & penalty shout for B. Silva right after not given, Defore dives and gets freekick, Wrongful freekick to Bournemouth for non-foul by Danilo, Wrongful offside on Sterling, No freekick at the 45th minute, Ake has committed two yellow card fouls and one red card foul in the first half but hasn’t received a single card of verbal warning, King dives and gets freekick, Cook gives out a red card worthy tackle on G. Jesus but Mike Dean doesn’t even give a freekick, The bournemouth wall was too close and kept moving forward refs did nothing even though there were complaints, Begovic wastes time a 3rd time & Dean tells him to hurry up a 2nd time, Wrongful offside against G. Jesus, Fernandinho gets fouled by two players & Dean does nothing which results in a shot that hits the post, Adam Smith dives after a light touch by Jesus and gets a freekick, No throw in for City which lead to Bournemouth attack, Harry Arter wastes time by pretending to be hurt, Defoe dives & gets freekick Otamendi yellow carded, Bournemouth gets a corner wrongfully, Aguero fouled by 2 player at the same time but no penalty, Aguero fouled by two players again no freekick, Cook not sent off for booting G. Jesus in the back of the head, Bournemouth gets wrongful throw in, De bruyne fouled Bournemouth counters which results in Mendy yellow card, Otamendi fouled Mike Dean says it’s on the ball (it wasn’t), G. Jesus wrongfully called offside, David Silva foul but no penalty, The Bourne mouth wall too close again on City freekick, Bournemouth players wastes time by being fake hurt, Arter dives and Sterling gets a yellow card, Afobe wastes time by pretending to be in pain resulting in a sub, Sterling gets red cared for celebrating a goal,
Dean is the worst ref I've ever seen, and I've been going to City since 1967.

Jesus Christ that Sterling shot took a lifetime to drop down. Massive fortune but we deserved that, yes we still have issues going forward and are very wasteful but I'm so delighted with that late winner that I can't speak about that. Mendy, Ederson and Bernardo are great additions and Jesus is our main man now, his footballing intelligence is up there with the best and his best is yet to come.

Very happy with the result.. should have sold Fern with the rest of the deadwood..Aguero on the bench for Stirling?come on pep!! Definitely need a centre half and a defensive midfielder.I'm worried about the pep/Sergio relationship.
Check the scorers pal.

Why are you concerned? Because for the fourth time since Pep came in, Aguero started on the bench when fit?

Maybe we're seeing Sterling come of age now. Not a good performance today but two crucial goals on the space of a week and he's earned us 4 points in two games. We don't have enough players who can score goals at vital moments so well done Raheem.

As for the sending off, just fucking ridiculous. Those fans have travelled a hell of a long way and Sterling is supposed to just jog quietly back to the halfway line is he?! Things like that happen once in a blue moon and if a player can't enjoy the moment with his own fans we might as well just stop football altogether.

Still, he misses the Liverpool game and he always plays crap against them anyway.

Strangely, that was my feeling. Could be blessing in disguise..

glad for the 3 point, but as alot of us said, we need to score early, so there wont be bus parking. And we need to work on pressing in front of our defence. i can see from now, how the scum will play against us; hoof it to the palm, who will in turn lay it to late runners (pogba for ex)

we've got no chance this season unless we find a way to break this style down at will and score at will, early in games. We can't keep going on with close games where we can't break through and put it to bed, and then be at the mercy of the refs to keep sending our players off and the controversy that goes with it. It will break us at some point this season.

Pep has 2 weeks to solve this or we won't win anything.
You sound a broken man already.

Both these results have shown great team spirit, which shows we have the stuff needed if we sort out the technical problems.

Totally agree as frustrating that game was with the time wasting and referee we come out with 3 points that's all that matter early season.
