City v Chelsea NOT sold out apparently

The seats in the North Stand lower tier are seats given out by the club to groups and for internal use. They give tickets to the universities and big companies like the Co-Op, sports clubs as well as anyone in the Academy and their families. If they're not used there'll be groups of empty seats but they're classed as "sold" as PL rules ask for numbers of tickets distributed rather than used.
We'd be doing ourselves a favour by putting those allocated tickets in the gods, away from camera lenses. We get crucified for empty seats permanently as it's always just a few in the same area.

It sold out about 2 months before Kick Off like Arsenal. It's the trickle of fans who put their seats back on re-sale. You'd think the media would know about this by now

6 each to the general public?

That's just the standard wording when on general sale. The fact that seats were available in 28 blocks means that there were probably about 28 individual seats available put up for sale by ST holders that couldn't make it.

You're not suggesting that they're being creative with facts, are you?!

I was surprised at the number of empty seats especially in the upper Family Stand on Saturday.
There's normally a few empty in SS3 presumably because that's where the £299 ST seats are which works out as only £15 a game so people aren't as inclined to bother putting them up for sale if they can't go.
