We need to bear in mind that we have played more games and that we have had Vinnie out for most of the season. I agree a settled team is likely to be more productive, but whether it is sustainable for ~60 games a season is debatable.

A couple of serious injuries to Chelsea would see a difference don't you think?

Absolutely. An injury to Hazard and they'll be a different team. I'm finding the lack of cohesion and consistency frustrating at the moment but i'm hoping that this is part of the transition towards becoming a club that doesn't rely on any single player being available at any given time. If we can achieve that, it will represent a revolution in English football and set us years ahead of everyone else.

If we don't, we'll that doesn't bear thinking about.
