We've been outstanding at reserve level for a while, but I think this is the worst crop we've had for a while. Toothless attack, very weak defensively, no invention in midfield.
Ndala is a miss for us. Dada Mascoll is a miss for us.

We sem to have sold the older ones or sent them on loan, appears to have been deliberately managed like that. I am only guessing though, maybe they are just marrying up with European competition where it appears to be under 19.Odd that the age profile of this year's cohort has not been managed better - really short on experience.

Even allowing for the age, this was a very poor performance. In fact Chelsea were also poor. The match lacked any real bite, played almost in slow motion. So many passes made with no conviction whatsoever. Maybe this is a time to remind a few of the players that they have achieved nothing tangible yet and that this a key stage of their development. This season will soon pass and the next crop may well take their places and push them to obscurity.
