CITY v Everton - WED 24th March - Official Match Thread

this is one one of the hardest home games that we have left (along with the derby, spurs and villa)

Everton are one of the inform teams and we generally struggle against them

Arteta is looking good and they have a solid back 4

Think it will be a draw but we need to score first as everton are very good at shutting up shop if they go ahead. Moyes has them well drilled

there is also a lot of pressure on us in this game as everyone knows its our game in hand.....we sometimes come unstuck in these situations.

want a win but think it will be a draw

Manchester City 1 - 1 Everton

city will take this 2 - 1
you're probably gonna let in an arteta set piece, probably cahill on the end of it with a header.
tevez & rsc will score though... leaving a mini dilemma when ade returns for the next game.

I thought Cahill was not playing???

I hope so as he always scores against us

Exactly, conceded 4 away, IN EUROPE! lol.

You said you have scored for fun against Arsenal, Chelsea and United....well, guess what, so have we! We put 3 past United, 3 past Chelsea away, 2 past Chelsea at home.

Your home record is something to be proud of, and I was looking for some sensible conversation, but to stick your neck out and say 4-1 is totally ridiculous. You're playing Everton, not Hull.

And for the record, I never said your opinion was wrong, I was laughing more at the sheer audacity and bullishness of your prediction.

please can you return to your own Board!

I wil give you a clue.....the second word is 'off'<br /><br />-- Wed Mar 24, 2010 7:49 am --<br /><br />

Cahill is fit to play mate.

We have to change the mentality - We are at home we haven't lost there all season.

Everton have been in form but so have we - 7 points from 3 away games including Chelsea - Everton blew a 2 goal lead a Birmingham last week a team that doesn't normally score many.

if we believe we are top 4 material we should be winning these games - Liverpool out of form beat them twice - we have to get up for the game in the same way and we will win.

What's this Everton arse lick fest? its making me cringe!

'' i have so much respect for Everton i would let you sleep with my wife ''

'' oh thanks come and sleep at mine after the game whilst we rim each other ''

wouldnt of minded having lescott back for this one, with everton stating to play some decent stuff of late we need to make sure our back 4 is as strong as disciplined as it has been at home all year. I feel that nige will have a big ob to do, artetas a good player. No way will tonight be a walkover, but as the big teams have proven in the past, if you cant beat the teams around you at home you have no chance
