That performance did not hint at a young player on the verge of a break through. Hope its a temporary blip. If the lad is misbehaving as some on here have hinted, I hope to hell the club are smart enough to sort it out.

That goes without saying. We pride ourselves on the way the club is run. There has not been one player that's left our club playing worse than before he came here. Not a single one. Weve lost a couple of players due to family issues. But nothing else.

Pep sounded peeved of and bit worried about the games coming up with the players who we missing! Not really bothered about the cup midweek but Leeds game going to be so tough and we can not drop anymore points at this point!

Leeds are also struggling with player availability with only one fit central defender and their options at left back are ordinary.

I see posters are queueing up to write off our young players after poor showings in a friendly. It’s not long ago that people on here were saying we were lucky to get £15mil for Romeo Lavia, only for Southampton to be turning down a £50mil offer from Chelsea (a few months later).

I went to the game yesterday and I was impressed by the way the lads played. I watched the highlights later and Alistair Mann said that Girona had pretty much a first team out. I'm not writing anyone off but I can't say I saw any individuals that are ready for the step up. The young Algerian on the wing seemed to be coasting through the game.
