Because you're overemphasising the importance of one poor performance from one of our best and hardest working players on a night we gave the opposition a thrashing anyway. It would be even more pathetic if you were sober.
Erm ?? I am more than sober thank you, but I say it how it is.Too many fans hate to hear the true facts, that at times their hero`s can`t perform no more than average displays.
I have seen my all time hero from days gone by, Colin Bell, perform no better than a poor mans old third division player.Did that make Colin Bell a shit house player ? No way.Why ? Because every now and again even one of the best ever players to dona City shirt can have a stinker. Was KDB wonderful tonight ? No way.
Does that make him a poor player ? Erm no ! But it doesn`t detract the fact that at times he can put in an average performance ... and not for the first time this season.
I love the guy,but by the same token, even my heroes can have a shit game ... something some of you hate to admit.

Forgive my football ignorance but isn't the MOM usually given to a player on the winning side? How common is it for the award to be given to a player on the losing side? Genuinely interested.

Really exciting game, especially in the first half when we looked on fire (after 20 mins). Aguero looked up for it and played well. Sane and Sterling both brilliant again. Garcia had a tidy game and looks a prospect. Attacking wise we look spectacular and one of these days we are going to get close to double figures. Everything is so fluid and quick and the pressing is getting better by the week.

That said, even though we comfortably won, Huddersfield did waste two or three really good chances which is a worry. Otamendi and Stones is a terrifyingly bad partnership, which is strange considering it's the most expensive in world football.

Was slightly disappointed Kelechi only got just over ten mins. Not sure what he's really done wrong when you consider some first time regulars are churning out god awful performances while still maintaining their place in the team - with the vocal backing of Pep to boot. Seemed strange bringing Delph on before him especially considering the game was dead and buried at half time really. Also with Jesus being out for probably the season, it always seems an unnecessary risk to leave Aguero out there longer than necessary as he could only be a sprint away from disaster, although maybe Pep wants to bring Kun's confidence up to a high level again.

I also cannot fathom Pep's unwavering support towards Bravo. It's one thing to avoid publicly flogging him but to continuously praise his performances as 'amazing' is starting to make Pep look like he's either deluded beyond belief, completely crazy or the world's biggest piss taker. That goal was the 9th conceded from the last 14 shots on target, and yet again was very save-able. I really don't get what angle Pep is going for. Blowing smoke up his arse clearly isn't working. It's sad that he's receiving ironic cheers everytime he handles the ball, but it's testament to how bad he is. Pep surely can't genuinely believe the comments he is making regarding Bravo. If he does, I fear he is similarly pleased with the rest of our backline, and if that is the case I fail to see how we improve as a team - considering our attack is already spectacular.

If it were the rags/arselona/lpool theyd be waxing lyrical about any of the 5 goals not picking holes in how they defended as for giving the opposition motm it wouldnt happen , only when its city , what agenda ?
Correct ,can you imagine big nose getting a brace there would be your first ten stories in the DM.

mark my words: aleix garcia will be as important for us as yaya toure

Indeed an impressive performance. And similar to Yaya's deeper position nowadays. But not comparable to the old Yaya back then...
Anyway, another very good option for Pep in midfield. Nice to have.

Did Huddersfield have the whole of the 3rd tier or was that all City fans?
They had it all. Didn't quite fill the last block.

They also had roughly half the 2nd tier and 1st tier. 2nd tier wasn't quite full. Steward said they were expecting 7,400

Glad he started and glad he played well. We often talk about blooding the younger lads but I dont think Garcia belongs in that category really, he is firmly part of the first team plans I think

Had a very tidy game. Kept it simple (unlike KDB with his Hollywood passes) and was highly effective. The pass to Zaba in the build-up to the 4th goal was superb.

It has probably been said, and I cannot be arsed checking dozens of pages; if Bravo plays for us again, then Pep has a death wish. The bloke is shite. Get rid.

My little sister has always been of the opinion that either Super Kev or Shit Kev turn up to a game and you can tell which one it is within about 10 minutes.

According to Pep, Bravo had an amazing game. One of the top keepers in the world.

I wish I could see the player in the same way, but what do I or millions of other football supporters around the country know?

Pride comes before a fall, as the saying goes, and surely he must at some point admit his mistake by not putting him on the pitch again.

I mean, how can keepers be tired and need a rest?

It's baffling, to say the least, why he keeps picking him.
