City v Liverpool attendance

Just looked out of curiosity what the gate was for the league cup game, soccer base has it down as just over 47000, yet it was sold out and Liverpool fetched more than Chelsea, seems strange
I suspect they probably did what they once did against Everton and forgot to add hospitality tickets. That's what happens when you let Eni Aluko do the sums.

They got it wrong for the 6-3 v RBL in 2021 with 38k and made up some excuse that didn't wash rather than admitting fault.

They probably always get it wrong, however come up with a plausible figure so nobody is any wiser.

That’s another that just has to have been wrong.

Not odd just the bbc
I would say bbc football online, not “the bbc”.

Apols for sounding pedantic but there’s so many posts on here keen to conflate what BBC Sports online football do, which is repeatedly and deliberately negative towards our club, and the bbc more widely as an organisation and national institution and asset.
