It's to be hoped that they dont target any of our players ie. Kev, Rodri, Raheem etc. to injure them before the season starts.

The team basically picks itself on Sunday.

Bravo

Walker
Stones
Laporte
Zinchenko

Rodri
D.Silva
De Bruyne

Sane
Bernardo
Sterling.

Surely Sterling is due one against this lot. Hopefully, Ferny, Aguero and Jesus get minutes.

Would like to see Sterling rip the "best centre half ever to play football" to pieces and dribble past him a dozen times , and then Sane to replicate his dribble past him at Klanfield to win another penalty , strange how the centre half who never let a player dribble past him all season , gave away a penalty when Sane dribbled past him ? These Dippers do have selective memories.

Or Bernado maybe?

I guess where Leroy starts or not depends where his heads at. If Jesus is ready to go then he may share a half with aguero instead.

We're very lucky that we only have Sergio missing, klopp has lost players to tournaments in South America and Africa but apparently we had none there at all, let alone winning the bloody things.

Hope we play well at least, and to get one over on them may damage them psychologically for the start of the season as we all know they're a bunch of bottlers, both the players mentally, and the fans wherever there is a coach in sight. If we lose then can't see it impacting us the same way, we've shown far too much steel in recent times.

C'mon blues, let's show them what real champions look like!

Otamendi back in training today. Aguero, Ederson, Jesus and Fernandinho probably back tomorrow.

Mahrez will be back next Monday.

Can't see any of the South American's playing Sunday. Reckon they will play in a behind closed doors friendly on Tuesday/Wednesday next week
Assuming they haven’t been on a 3 week binge, wouldn’t they be fit enough to take their places on the bench? Wouldn’t 15-30 min appearances be beneficial for them?

I’d like to see it. If they had arrived 4 days before West Ham, they’d have no doubt played a part in that game, so I don’t see why they can’t have a small part to play in this one. Better for them to get some minutes under their belt and giving the minutes to Nmecha over Aguero doesn’t make much sense going into the Premier League.

Yeah, I think they'll probably be on the bench. Doubt many of the kids who featured on the Asian tour will be involved on Sunday.
