dreading this a bit now with vinny out! hopefully though with walker and mendy playing our full back issue has been solved from recent years.
 
Hoping for a Pep masterclass today. First time we get to see Mendy and Walker together. Need to get right in their faces from the start.
 
We need to start at a good tempo . We will need to put a good shift in to win. Looking forward to it. The weather though, wtf.
 
Grim weather for it, although hopefully a slick surface will help us knock it around quicker. It's a blow that Kompany and Sterling are out, but them missing Coutinho and Lallana is a leveller. Come on City.
 
First big test of the season for both sides and im really hoping we have learnt and moved on from the issues that we had last season.

Fast start needed and we have to win the midfield battle.

Do that and we should have enough.

Compared to the last time we played them they're without Clyne, Coutinho & Lallana, but can pick Salah (and possibly Oxlade Chamberlin). We don't have Sterling but have Ederson, Walker, Danilo, Mendy, Bernardo & Jesus available.

We should have beaten them last time, no excuses for not winning today.

Yeah id agree with this.

There cant be any real excuses this season other that bent fucking refs shafting us!
