CITY v Liverpool: Post Match Discussion

A points a decent result considering midweek game and Balo's red card. Hart was outstanding and saved us from defeat but i have to give Lescott a mention. Apart from the unlucky deflection he was solid and made some great tackles.

And yet he is the one that takes the criticism - Best central defender at the club by a mile and top 3 in the prem.

14/9: City 1-1 Napoli
18/9: Fulham 1-1 City

27/2: Bayern 2-0 City
1/10: Blackburn 0-4 City

18/10: City 2-1 Villarreal
23/10: Scum 1-6 City

2/11: Villarreal 0-3 City
5/11: QPR 2-3 City

22/11: Napoli 2-1 City
27/11: Liverpool 1-1 City

7/12: City vs. Bayern
12/12: Chelsea vs. City

The potentially crippling away days after every Champions League game (while the scum were gifted with six home games) have not resulted in such and we've done remarkably well.

Re: City against counter-attacking football

Somethings not quite right last few games but I expect that. Opposition managers have seen us score at will and they put out a team to stifle us. Giving the ball away has been a feature lately. I think its partly due to yaya being knackered. Trouble is he always looks tired and when he really is tired its hard to tell.

Let's calm down on the Balo hate. We know he's volatile and that these things happen with him from time to time and will probably happen again, he cannot change over night though he is well on the way, I feel. The red card was debatable although Balo should have known better.

we can't win every week. unlucky with their goal and the sending off but also a bit fortunate at the end.

lets move on. i'd give the main boys a rest on tuesday and then go from there.

This sums it up for me, fair assessment.

Re: City against counter-attacking football

I'm extremely satisfied with the league, just suggesting improvement.

Quite sure that Mancini isn't in the dressing room pointing at the league table, he strives for continuous improvement hence the thread.

If you are too sensitive to criticism to handle a tactics thread, don't reply, easy.

Go wank on silva,fag.

Ofc he could have scored from first touch, but he didnt. No one blames him,but its definetly not Dzeko's fault.

Never said his fault...said he could've passed earlier which he could have.

You respond with
1.Homophobic insult
2.Generic insult

Enjoy your ban. ;)
