Nevel said yesterday that you can usuly tell if it's a red card by the reaction of the fans in the stadium, and there didn't seem to be an air of expentance that there was a red coming !
He is right in the respect I wasent expecting a red but I'm sure if it was Sergio delivering that kick to the face there would have been more certainty from the crowd a red card was on the way. Says more about the decisions we get then the way the refs apply actual laws of the game.
Some blues have said we got one in our favoure at last, ? this should be the norm not the exception,
Make the most of it it will be a while b4 we get a fair ref again, even the ref from yesterday will be a bit more leaniant next time as he will have this in the back of his mined

Just posted this on the BBC 'have your say' after watching MOTD.

"So 3 strikers Lineker, Shearer and Wright all make macho claim that they would have recklessly risked putting their studs into a goalkeeper's face. There were no goalkeepers asked for their opinions. Poor BBC balance in line with lower standards of journalism. Shame Petr Cech was not consulted and that Bert Trautmann is not still with us to comment."

Whilst Lineker backtracked from his early tweet on the red card he was still a twat and failed to deliver balanced journalism in line with supposed BBC neutrality.

In terms of football we played some lovely stuff and did some real damage to the Dippers. When we went down to 10 men against Everton we fought back to get a result. In contrast Liverpool just lost belief up in the same circumstances due to our dominance and professionalim.

Obvious non serious injuries perhaps but 8 mins on the deck, multiple medical staff and oxygen being given as well as a neck brace tends to lead you to the conclusion that its a possible serious injury and to a man they normally get applauded off.

Watched it so many times this morning and I agree. He is unlucky because obviously if he doesn't make contact then he probably doesn't even get a yellow.
