City v Liverpool - Post Match Thread

Looks offside unfortunately, just as Mendy is about to play the ball.

does a look a step offsides but difficult one bc last man back seems to be the guy nearest mendy

My missus was reading the papers online this morning... she saw an article about Ederson being out in town last night... I said "and" she replied "he made a meal of it"...

She is a Dipper but I had never noticed the bitterness till that moment

are you still with her?

Have to say I like this formation 3 at the back (vinnie in the middle obviously) Walker and Mendy on the flanks, Dinho holding, Silva and KDB behind Kun and Jesus. With Sane, Sterling, Gundogan, Bernardo etc. to interchange we really are looking good for the season and have a squad that can rotate for all competitions especially with games now coming one after the other. Pep just needs to work on our defensive set up and get them playing as a unit. KDB was awesome and right now is our MVP. Ederson is proving to be as good as we hoped (thank god) and Bravo seems to have overcome his first year jitters. All in all its so far so good and wasn`t it great that the Bootlicker had to sit and commentate thru it all!

Accidental but a straight red for me all day long as reckless and clearly dangerous. But one of the most telling things i noticed from the so called experts on MOTD was that wright said Mane was trying to dink the ball over Edison. Which can only mean that he knew Edison was there. That doesn't mean it was intentional just that he knew he where he was and so clearly a reckless challenge for the ball. TBH I was surprised by the responses of Lineker.

The NBC commentators (Mustoe and Earle) both unequivocally said red. As did the match commentators, who that aside, were generally knobs throughout the game
