City v Palace post match

These are the same people who think reality TV represents the real world & have no concept of critical thinking.

Before coming to City, Guardiola was widely regarded as the best manager in the world, & it now transpires that it was Pep in his final season at Bayern who told City to get Sterling & KDB.

Sterling is still a kid in footballing terms & still has a lot of maturing & learning to do & we knew that when we bought him, so if he's good enough for Guardiola, he's more than good enough for me, because Sterling was better than any of the City bred youngsters we had at the time.

Sterling will likely never recover for leaving the media darling that is Liverpool. They demonised him to cover the fact they could no longer keep their very best players, & the media helped to complete the job for them.

THEN we had all the stories about substance abuse, his Mum's gold coloured sink, his blingy ride, leaving his girlfriend & my personal favourite; losing England the fuckin World Cup!

Sterling is one of us, & the least he should get from us is our support & respect. So the next time you hear someone cursing Sterling, do what I did to a friend of mine.... I asked him 'So if Sterling was your 20 yr old boy, all the abuse you & others are giving him would be perfectly fine with you?'

After blustering on for a minute about football being a mans game & they should expect abuse, I pointed out to him, that giving abuse still doesn't make it right, ESPECIALLY when it comes from his own fans!

Some of our fans really don't deserve what Sheikh Mansour has done for our club.
Sterling's been hung out to dry from certain quarters of the press. Scandelous. In fact some of the more esteemed hacks have even had a pop at the redtop ones for what the've done. Something more deeper with some of them. Fuckin bordering on racism. twats.

We should do and shame the fuckers!
Better to let people voice an opinion and vent. Hindsight is wonderful, but how do you think Pep felt in that first half? The guy looked thoroughly pissed off, angry, almost bewildered by some of the play the team was producing. He said as much after the match and clearly vented that at half time. Not much different to fans on a forum really, only Pep's platform is a half time team talk as opposed to the internet. Pep thought we were wank for a 30 minute period in the first half. Utter wank. And he was correct. So why aren't fans allowed to get frustrated too? The final result doesn't mean people were wrong to express such views. If Pep hadn't felt the exact same way, we sure as fuck wouldn't have won 5-0. If he had his head in the sand and happy clapped his way through half time, we'd have either drawn 1-1 or just about held onto 1-0 through continuing to play slowly and half-arsed, with borderline zero forward pressing. Only difference is we can't communicate our feelings with the players like Pep can, but that doesn't make them wrong :)

The genuine blues in match threads have nothing to answer for as they are no different to anyone at the game or in the pub that are frustrated with what they are seeing, footy is all about passion and highes and lows,it's the other who turn up in the match threads that turn it nasty who should be ashamed of themselves the sad bastards

No argument with recognising that the team occasionally play badly but picking out single players is not on. Recent criticism of Sterling for mistakes when ignoring other players less than perfect performances isn't.

We were poor for 40 minutes on Saturday but even if we weren't the matchday thread would still have been as awful as ever.
