City v PL | Legal Dispute/Appeal

Big difference between small claims court and corporate proceedings- one day is nothing big so think we are fine here.

As for Liverpool - search on here and you will see

PB posts a good start
So maybe, just maybe, we complained to the PL about Liverpool hacking us and their refusal to take action against them?

Probably coming out of this

If the Premier League's investigators conclude that City have a case to answer they will either seek to come to a financial settlement with the club or set up an independent disciplinary commission.

Such tribunals are extremely rare in the Premier League as most disputes and alleged rule breaches are settled privately, as occurred last year when Everton agreed to pay Watford £4m in compensation for the manner in which they recruited Marco Silva.

The most recent case of the Premier League prosecuting one of their own clubs was in 2007 when West Ham were fined £30m for breaching third-party ownership rules concerning Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano.

For fucks sake is there no end to this constant attack. Is there no lawyer/missile/hitman who can end this here? Why then can’t we all just get pissed and watch the final?

Throw enough mud etc etc. After this week’s events it’s only going to get worse. In some ways we’ve just got to man up, none of this is going away anytime soon. Ric might need to set up a separate forum for legal battles!

With the mention of "structural bias" it's possible the appeal court case relates to the "independence" of any disciplinary commission, probably composed of Gill, Parry and Tebas.

the @slbsn tweets are mine. That’s the best I can do at the moment. But pure speculation ...1) the disciplinary proceedings appear not yet concluded/decided - is this some kind of CAS 1 attempt to interrupt the process? 2) it seems unlikely to me to be trivial - making allegations of structural bias and going as far as the court of appeal seem quite meaningful

BUT

if City and PL were in arbitration for something FFP/serious surely it would have leaked from one of our other 19 friends at the PL.
Nothing in the press , especially after the actions of the club in the last week would point at this not something of great importance, at least I hope I am right.

Just scroll back a few posts on this page itself and you will see the press coverage ... first one out tomorrow, the rest will be all over it by later Friday and Saturday ... oh, wait we have a Final on Sunday, don't we?

There's an article in today's mail regarding high court hearing regarding damages case over Barry benell, maybe this?
City at the last momement are apparently trying to get benall as a witness or something?
