City v Southampton pre match thread

Not meaning to sound at all complacent, but it's quite astonishing that we will be 17 points ahead of Spurs with a win tonight. That's an incredible lead after just over one third of a season!
They are supposedly title contenders...

Think it will be a tough game tonight, so strongest team possible for me. We can rotate a few against West Ham and a lot against Shakhtar.

Ederson
Walker
Kompany
Otamendi
Delph
Fernandinho
D Silva
De Bruyne
Sterling
Sane
Jesus
Yeah I agree, we also have Leicester in the cup where we can rotate a lot. Strongest possible team tonight.

When the club invite you to "regrade" your season card for a given match, are they inviting you, in simpler terms, to sell on your seat to another supporter for that match? Sorry for the ignorance, but that language just isn't transparent to me. (I received an e-mail concerning tonight's match).

Think we'll go unchanged.
Southampton will have had zero time to work on a defensive park the bus change of tactic having played on Sunday like us.
They'll go with an additional DMF I suspect and pack midfield. I like the look of Lamina they got from Juve, very good player.
With a full team out we should have too much for them. Wonder if Pelligino will change his starting 11 and see this as a free hit and keep his powder dry for Bournemouth.
I expect us to get three points but it won't be a walkover. Score early and it might though.

I think the only players to come in will be Jesus for Aguero and Gundogan or Silva for KDB.

I think the rest remains the same with the likes of Kompany getting the West Ham game off.

The only other player that my come in would be Danilo for Walker.

Either way I just think following the Wolves and Feyenoord home games, if we rotate quite significantly our performance drop off is just too large.
