Just got back from the game.
My thoughts. First half we were far too slow in possession and the midfield offered little in the way of support to Iheanacho, although to be fair their keeper made two good saves. The goals we gave away were almost identical down the right and tapped in by their number 11. Poor defending on both, the second a mistake by Tosin Adarabioyo.
The introduction of Byrne at half-time made all the difference second half.
For me he grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck and got us moving. The best midfielder on the pitch by a mile. Scored a goal, hit the post and with him we were a different proposition.
Intima was a real threat down the right and Nemane down the left, but we were always vulnerable to the Spurs counter attack.
Iheanacho looks a player and although he didn't score he won the ball back to help create a goal.
Overall a decent game (particularly second half).
