Afellay's challenge on Sane at the end was a genuinely wonderful moment, pure comic theatre. It just seemed to capture perfectly the difference in ability between the two sides.

Oh fuck aye. In the replay on BeIn in slomo Afellay was laughing as he was doing it. Comedy gold.

Plus that was the only yellow card given out yesterday if I remember correctly. I thought the referee had a good game. Mind you I think he was probably so mesmerised with our style of play that he didn't notice any foul play!! Having said that all credit to Stoke, yes there were a few cynical tackles especially Shaquirri (sp?), but all in all it was a clean, crisp, brilliant game.








I know I know, half the time they couldn't get near enough to our players to foul them we were so quick & clinical!!

Sitting here now, having watched MOTD and having caught my breath, it's just sinking in how good that was today.

I reckon that's the best all round performance I've ever seen from a City team.

For example; To be able to bring on Bernie, Yaya and Ilkay is just ridiculous!

With Danilo and Sergio as unused subs too. Two more world class players out injured. It's never looked better.
