Fitness of some players has dictated who I think will be selected. Pep will probably pick Zaba over Sagna. I also don't want to see Fernando & Kolarov in that back line, I would rather play a kid who will make mistakes but hopefully learn. I don't think we'll get Stones in time. Hopefully Otamendi wasn't too badly injured. Don't think KDB is ready to start either. Toure could play. Not sure on Sane's situation either.

That team should be strong enough to pick up 3 points. Sunderland will sit back and try to counter us, need to pick a team that will have energy to work but can unlock a defence.

Can't see you lot being him with Van Arnholt already at the club, perhaps having two failed wingers who have now been converted to full backs can work in tantem. Didn't work when Sven tried it with Cole ad and Bridge.

I can't see Stones being signed this week and even if he is will he be thrown in with no training or real understanding of what's expected of him.

Toure should play alongside Ottamendi if fit. At least Toure can pass the ball and keep possession well. Those two clowns today surely won't be risked again after that shambolic performance.

I can see De Bruyne playing. He looked fine to me.

I think if he is fit enough he has to play. Nolito did some nice things but he looks a bit slow and we seem to be lacking pace. Might not be fit enough though.

The CB issue is a problem but of all our midfielders I would agree that Fernandinho would be the best fit but it co promises us in midfield at least until the new signings are ready.

I thought Toure looked a bit leaner today and played ok when he came on but time will tell. He isn't going to be pressing. I don't think that worked very well anyway today. Our passing was poor and we drifted from pressing to not pressing numerous times. It's going to take a good few weeks to get them all buying into this.
