the press / media will be doing their utmost to undermine us before the game , last season it was mancini being sacked straight after the wigan final , this year they are shit stirring over FFP being kicked out of Europe , pants and hart , pellegrini banned etc etc , they will do everything to de-stabilise our club . The players believed all this shite last year and bottled it , I expect our players to shove any comments right down the throat of the jealous bastards responsible for printing this garbage . Lets play the game of our lives , and collect the 1st trophy of the season in style , COME ON CITY!

Err.

FFP - 76 teams are being investigated and the press had no control over when that report was released.
Pants and Hart- Pants is yet to let one in in this competition this year (I think Joe said )and Joe has said he deserves to play. The media have made many articles saying "hart happy to let pants play in the final", "Hart- 'It did me good to be dropped'"
Pellers- Did the media say to pellers "In order for us to be able to fuck you up just before the Sunderland game, can you, when you have played Barca come out with comments that will in all probability get you a ban?"

Just my opinion but all three I don't see how the press could have had an influence other than the reporting of these events, apart from mentioning city in the headline about 76 clubs over FFP (which I admit could be a tiny dig).

4-1 City
Agendas, agendas. Every where you turn, around every corner, there's an agenda lurking, just waiting to jump on us and kick the shit out of us. By the way, anyone running a book on what time Sunderland will score the winner?

119th minute of extra time.

I see Sky Sports are showing it in the UK now, did they pick it up really late? I could have sworn that I didn't see it listed earlier in the week.

It has been advertised awhile now

Pantilimon
Zaba
Kompany
Lescott/Demichelis
Kolarov
Garcia
Fernandinho
Nasri
Toure
Silva
Negredo

Use our full backs to create our width, with Nasri, Toure and Silva all making runs off Negredo.

3-0

According to the Guardian Panty will be in goal for tommorow.

I have tickets in club wembley. Can anyone advise if I'm ok with club scarf?
Only if it's a City one!
Make sure you shove it down your undies until you're in your seat. Otherwise they'll take it off you (so I'm told). That area's for the toffs, don't cha' know!
Not true. I was in there for the final against Stoke (block 216), and I had no problem with my scarf, along with countless other blues as well as the six fingered mob. They don't allow replica shirts though.

The sentiment v best eleven scenario will be interesting.

Lescott and Pants have played the most minutes in the lead up to the final but obviously are not in MP 's best starting line up given all players are available etc.

There is little room for sentiment and I doubt there would be any tears shed for Lescott and Pants if MDM starts along with Hart.

We saw last year that Hart got the gig in the FA Cup final despite Pants playing all the lead up games and we know the result of course.

Personally I think both Pants and Hart are good enough to start on merit given what they have done in this comp to date.

I hope MP sees it the same way.

If he didn't and it went tits up for us tomorrow it could derail the rest of the season for us notwithstanding the fact that not having one or both start should make any difference to team moral and what we do from Sunday onwards.

Pants played in all the other games so should start, as should Lescott
Negrado hasn't been fit for the last 3 games (and lets be honest has been bloody woeful to boot as a result) so he should only start on the bench. Same applies to Aguero who probably shouldn't start either - a bloody huge risk if he does start too. Push YaYa up teh pitch to get the job done early.
My team:

---------------- Pants
Zab Kompany Lescott Cliche
----------- Garcia Fern
---Silva ------------------Nasri
--------------- YaYa
-------------- Dzeko
