After hearing what a great all round sportsman Colin Bell was, I guessed he was our number 3 batsman. And sure enough..

Played cricket with both Francis Lee and old United player David Herd at Timperley Cricket Club both fine cricketers as well!

More of our team had played cricket at some time or other the Rags were on a hiding to nothing. David Herd played for Timperley so was reasonable competent. I was there and it was very enjoyable.
