Good omen? Just read that the last time a Derby was played on 27 April was Dennis Law's back heal. What a lovely day that was and i was there.

A key factor will be how much our guys are up for it after a dispiriting and exhausting cup final. We can expect the rags to be well marshalled, well motivated , quietly confident...and cynical.

I'm another who wants Zaba in for the warrior factor, even if the defensive coaches (do we have any?) have to read him and his colleagues the riot act about covering each other diligently.

For similar psychological reasons, can we please not have Bravo? He looked a quivering wreck against the Tarquins and it really is time to end this failed experiment. You can be sure Mourinho has plans to exploit him.

Message to the management: this is a fcukin Manchester derby, not a sports laboratory, and not a charity match.

tbf, every football forum will have similar views

Maybe it is time to get scientific about this. Perhaps somebody with a load of time on their hands could devise a spreadsheet/database capable of recording
and analysing every decision for and against in every game. You could have a kind of a matrix/index which would give a good indication of the balance between negative and
positive decisions. You may also be able to get some sort of numerical slant on the performance of officials from game to game.

REWORKED FOR THURSDAY NIGHT

Let's get it going.

"Rooney scored
"Fergie cried
"United's dream had f***ing died
"City score 2 in a row
"Everyone's singing...
"Kun Aguero, Kun Aguero
