Hello, I'm new on here. I'm from the US, but I'm traveling to London tomorrow for a college thing. Anyway I was wondering if there was a City friendly pub in london to watch the Villa and Blackpool game at. I look forward to meeting some proper City fans.

Welcome to blighty blue...this is the pub where most london based blues watch the games...<a class="postlink" href="http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/12/12234/City_Pride/Clerkenwell" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/ ... lerkenwell</a>

Hopefully Villa will get absolutely tonked. It's been coming at our home matches and after watching Villa yesterday, it could well happen.

Even without the blue tinted specs on I'm convinced that a resounding home victory is due and is certainly on the cards. . let's face it we haven't had the rub of the green at home so far this season.
I've seen plenty of games where the enemy have been doing an impression of custers last stand but have held out for points that we truly deserved. I think it's been due to the fact that we're still moulding new talents together still getting to know each other and not quite hitting that sweet spot of total demolition.
At the start of the season I held out hope of our progressing towards a deserved forth spot but I've often been blinded by the moments of magic that the lads string together to the degree that my expectations have lifted above the realistic and I'm now hoping for a cheeky third spot or possibly better?
Tomorrow will be difficult especially because I recon that villa will have done their homework on us and turn out set to defend in depth - that's where we've struggled at home (but not away where the opposition has more confidence).
So, I'm looking forward to a 1-0 or 2-1 win but I might put a small wager on a 5-0 win as from the day we finally click we'll start churning out some big scores for sure.
Next season once Mario, & whoever comes to strengthen us in January, have got to grips with the hussle of the english game and Roberto's had time enough to polish the squad we'll be well placed for the top spot but we need to ignore the media hype for now and show the patience that the club deserve in this initial difficult rebuilding phase of the development plan.

I'll still put a fiver on 5-0 though!
