Zaba fantastic. Kolarov strong and comfortable. Yaya looking a force again. KDB world class. Nolito thrilling and always involved. Sterling shades of Messi. Spanish Dave just superlative.

Pressing was back close to what it should be, making it an easy game. We made hard work of it, like is so often the case, but still easy nonetheless. Good win with good desire.

Controlled the game with Kevin sublime in the first half and Merlin much better than of late.
Second half saw Sterling much more like it but as the game went on at 1-0, we saw our biggest weakness and that is both full backs with Success showing that Zabba can no longer cope with pace and physicality and Clichy who when he needs to defend just cant anymore.
Yaya M of M for me, he was brilliant all night.
2-0, 3 points and we build from here but we desperately need new full backs.
