City v Wigan | Post Match

just like to say thanks to MP, for making my 300 mile round trip worthwhile, picking a squad that reflected my commitment went down well, fantastic to see the manager using the game to try things out, but also going for goals, and keeping interest high for the fans.

the perfect approach to a cup I want to see city win.

Great result and performance last night.
Of course it's only Wigan but as stated previously we can only beat what is put in front of us.
I liked how the boss brought on Yaya,Navas,Negredo in the second half....

I wonder if it was always the plan to play Ferny first half and YaYa second.

Whether it was or not, it worked very well.
Of course it was the plan. The initial plan was to play Rodwell and not use either of Fernandinho or Yaya, but since Rodwell got injured again we had nobody else to play, so it makes sense for the two of them to split the game between them, not having to expend too much energy whilst also keeping them ticking over.

Is there a download link or a torrent for the game? it would be good to see the whole thing with out the stop motion effect of the stream i watched it on!

Most positive I ever felt about our form but our chemistry is obvious and you can see they really are fighting for each other which we didn't see last year..and pellegrini is brilliant his substitutions are always spot on ..he intelligently takes out players to save them for the next important game and at the most ideal times..and when we need to sub someone on he does it with enough time for the player to get into the game unlike Mancini who would bring on a sub in the 85th minute hoping dzeko will save the day..then when he does he wouldn't play him next game.

Fantastic win, Milner MOTM by far.
Personally I'd give it to Rooney on the strength of Saturdays performance..... He was the best player at the Etihad don't you know!!!

Outstanding all round performance.

Shadygiz MOTM for sorting us all out with streams.

haha, it was looking shaky at first, but we all pulled together and it worked out ok ;)
Thanks for that.

Thanks for that indeed. My heart sank when I realized radio was the only option. :)

James Milner man of the match for me. Outstanding

Couldn't agree more. Ran tirelessly all night and was very effective on both wings. Outstanding performance , best player on the pitch!

Ok it was a poor Wigan side (even when Nick Powell came on, to such welcoming applause .......) but you can only beat what is put in front of you.
I thought the whole team looked as if they were playing to impress and actually seemed to play with a smile for a change.

Thought Boyata, Lopes and even Garcia had some quality moments and if this is the Pellegrini effect then it could be a great season.

Need 3 points against a weakened Villa side and the Bayern game is set up for a night to remember ... for all the right reasons this time!

PS Loved Lopes backslapping his celebrating team-mates as if he was a regular and on last night's showing he deserves a place in the first team squad (reminds me of a young Michael Owen)

Best week of the year so far, thanks lads.

Are these adblockers freeware programs shadygiz? I'm on a company lap top and some of these sites do make me nervous tbh

I missed the first half but used Pudge's link to see the second half (cheers Pudge)

if you are using Chrome or Firefox, you can just search for AdBlock Plus plugin, it's absolutely free and easy to install in no time. helps enhancing your general browsing experience a ton as well!

cheers Колобок - unfortunately I'm on IE - does it work for that too?
