Wiziwig lists everything regardless in the hopes that someone will show it. Doesn't mean much I'm afraid. I didn't know Benfica have their own TV channel but they would still need permission to show it and Eurosports have the exclusive rights as far as I know.

Aye I saw that Colin. Shame BBC Manchester aren't doing a commentary, even if only through the website.

-- Mon Mar 17, 2014 7:37 pm --

From some Portuguese site, apparently Benfica TV won't have it but they seemed pretty sure it was going to be shown on one of he Portuguese sports chanels. Hopefully someone is showing it, as it'd be a pisstake if both our knockout games weren't shown anywhere

I'm hoping to go tonight! They have an unbelievable player called Rochina, keep an eye on him if you watch it, he'll be playing for a big team in the next few years!

5 goals and 5 assists he has in the competition so far, impressive indeed.

Just looking at the stats going into this game and Benfica won 4, drew 2 and lost 0 in the group stage, they scored the same amount as us in the groups which was 15 but conceeded one more than we did with us conceeding 4 and Benfica 5.

In the first knockout game Benfica won 4-1 against Austria Wien so they do remain the only side along with Barcelona left in the competition to have not lost a game yet which is worrying for us I suppose.

Looking at the top scorers and top assists on the Wiki page for this years competition it does look like Rochinha is the only Benfica player on those lists whilst we have Devante Cole and Marcos Lopes on the top scorer lists and Sinan Bytyqi and George Glendon on the top assists lists, that's just from what I see on the Wiki page anyway.

I know stats are misleading but it does look like this Benfica team is heavily lead by Rochinha, albeit to score the amount of goals they have and to keep the number of goals conceeded low this Benfica side is clearly a very talented all round team.

Exciting stuff, come on Blues, come on Vieria.
