glad to see we cheered nasri on!

shows that all the arm chairers in here are just moany ponys

Wasn't particuarly impressed with Nasri again though , to be honest ....

but as someone has already said , you can only beat what's put in front of you , and you'd have to say that City did a pretty effective demolition job on a very average Barnsley side ...... it was more like a training stint at times , and Barnsley were clearly out of the depth , even though we were never really at full pelt.

He hasnt conceeded yet so should go to wembley, hopefully twice.

He's hardly been tested either. If we draw the rags next would be a huge risk to have him between the sticks based on him facing lower league opposition.

He was tested today - a one on one and then a long range shot which was going in the bottom corner. Everytime he's needed to make a save he has done. Remember that crucial save v Watford in R3 when the score was 0-0 ? He's a massive target to beat in one on ones. I think someone will bid for him in the summer if he keeps keeping clean sheets.

If that is the case then I would have a look at Joel Robles currently on loan at Wigan from Atletico to replace him; We have been linked with him in the past and he was excellent against Neverton today.

Fucking hell it was cold up in the gods!....just about thawed out.

Blackburn in the semi please.

not for the first time, Yaya spat his dummy out, another ref may have sent him off. Apart from that it was a stroll in the park.

Great performance and I thought the atmosphere was really good too.

Tevez is our leading scorer in all competitions now if I'm not mistaken? 15 goals vs. Dzeko and Aguero's 13 each.

He needs to cut that out. It's not the first time he's whined at refs this season. If he's not careful, he'll end up getting a reputation, which will be hard to get rid of.

I was bored today. It was just too easy. Yep, bored.

A bit difficult to tell if Barnsley were poor or City were excellent. I thought Nasri,Barry,Kolo,Kolorov and Silva all played well. Outstanding though for me was Dzeko who gave a great centre forward display and Tevez who took his goals well.

Good solid performance and did eaactly what we needed to do .
Enjoyed awesomeness display earlier too !!!

Very impressed with the players attitude from start to finish. It was great to see the players still hunting them down in the last 10 mins trying to get possession back. Really impressed with Kolo again he's almost like a new signing and has done a terrific job while Vinny's been away. MOTM for me was Tevez. He might not be the brightest spark off the field but on it he's fantastic and I challenge anyone to find another player in the world that has as much hunger and desire to win for his team... alright maybe Zabba but no one else. !!!!

Interesting, i wasn't going to say outstanding but I'm glad you did. It was a shame that his composure with some of his shooting didn't match the excellent work rate and his desire to impress the manager and his loyal fans.

It was but a lot of Fidel's magic in the second half coffee sorted that

Barnsley manager and players very impressed with City apparently .....

Barnsley manager David Flitcroft was impressed by the quality of City and said Mancini's men deserved their victory.

"I've got a dressing room of players who are all in agreement we've come up against world stars,"

"They came out in the second half and still wanted to put us to the sword. If they're the second best team in the country at the moment I would not like to have played Manchester United. Some of the football was incredible.

"They were just breathtaking, scintillating in the way they moved the ball."
