Have to get through this game without any more injuries as hard as that seems these days.

No Toure, Kompany, Zabba, Fernando, Kun for Swansea which is a season defining game for this club and a must win.

Time for MP to show us something to indicate he wants to hang on to this job until the end of season otherwise replace him with someone with energy and capable of organising us defensively at least something MP has little ability to do.

It is amazing, our club owner cares very much, he wants this competition more than any other. If any real City fans don't support our owner after all he's done, then they should look for a new club for me.

Only 13 fit players, and out of them many are tired and needs a rest. PL position is slipping away and with 2 crucial top table clashes upcoming that could even put us out of the race.
Even if we go all out to win against BMG, we could still be 2nd in the group if Juve manages to draw (which they are well capable of).
It's the situation we are in that has forced us to adjust our priorities. As I said earlier, I would go for a 0-0 with the tired players rested and emphasis on defending, just like the United game. Let's hope we get a Porto/Athletico/Wolfsburg in the Round of 16 and we have a decent chance to progress further.

we need to win this one at all costs....Juventus will be up against a Sevilla team looking to finish 3rd to try and enter the Europa draw and we have to make sure they will be up for it by beating M'gladbach to top the group.

Only problem is our form at the minute is woeful and we cant honestly say which team is going to turn up on the night

You should see some of my son's hilarious comments - and he's an accountant and they are supposed to not have a sense of humour
It's all good....I'm hoping against hope for a clean sheet tonight, though.

We can only finish top if we win and Juve lose I believe. If they draw and we win we are both on 12 points but Juve hold the head-to-head advantage.

Sevilla will be highly motivated by the chance to compete for a Europa League hat trick. I expect them to beat Juve. Less confident about City.

Have they been ruled out of Swansea as well? I read Pellegrini said they wouldn't be available for Tuesday.

Juve are playing much better now in their league. I think they will play for a draw at Seville and get it. Borussia Mgch also beat Bayern 3-1 at the weekend. I thought they were poor in the 1st leg, but a little unlucky to lose, but up until the last couple of weeks, I thought this was the easiest game in our group. Now every game looks difficult.

Champions League games are usually more intense than League games, and I am not sure we have the physical capacity to play at the level required.

On the plus side, Borussia can't qualify, although they could get 3rd.

Hart

Sagna - Otamendi - Mangala - Clichy

Fernandinho - Delph

Navas - Silva - De Bruyne

Sterling

Think that is probably the best team we can put out with the injuries we have. All we can do is win our game and hope Sevilla beat Juventus. They do have the motivation of finishing in the Europa League place so you never know. Does anyone know if Sergio is back for this game?

There aren't many options

Mangala comes in for Demichelis. Clichy comes on for Kolarov to rest him (the runs he makes down that left flank are exhausting - he can't keep doing it).

I've got a feeling, Bony even though he is struggling, probably at the expense of Navas.
