Defend deep and hit them on the break.

I expect Sterling will be on the bench. Just because I don't think MP will want to go into the game without any attacking substitutions at his disposal

Perhaps if we were the away team. But how do City play like that in a home match?

Good point. Could maybe argue Navas is an impact sub.

It is an odd one for sure. I am not sure everyone has a downer on us it is perhaps due to our rollercoaster past a lot of City fans are probably more pessimistic as opposed to optimistic. If most of us won the lottery we would keep on going to the cashpoint to check the balance as we wouldn't believe it lol.

On the team i think it is a surprise for many we are suddenly doing so badly due to our signings. We all know we will miss Kompany and Aguero for large chunks of the season but the signings of Mangala and Ottemendi should have had that covered and Bony and Sterling for Aguero. We strengthened the midfield with Delph and De Bruyne so it is a bit baffling.

Injuries have hampered us let's hope we get some key players back and crack on.

time to get behind the team !!! these people are paid ridiculous amounts of money, are given the best of everything, dont have to do anything for themselves, only to be in peak shape to perform for 90 mins !!! i'm sorry but sub standard performances really dont cut it anymore. I'll still be spending my hard earnt cash to support them though

Doesn't matter if we can win it our not we have to try our best and try beat what's put up in front of us.
Chelsea. Man Utd done it before. Juve got in the final last season and there's not much between us. I'd say we are better with our best players.

You only have to think back a few weeks to what we are capable of.

Hart, Kompany and Otamendi, Silva and De Bruyne and Aguero. The problem is that the main men have been out. Is it going to remain that way? Surely not

We have to strive to be better.

I wouldn't play that way with a full strength team but sometimes when you have a weakened team, you just have to play to the strengths of the players available.
