True we have Mahrez but they have Jorginho. They might have the " new manager bounce".

I think KDB is our single most important player. Wasn't it Wigan that said, after analysing our strengths and weaknesses, regarding our League cup game: " if De Bruyne doesn't play we will have a chance."

Hard to predict the starting line up , i am presuming Foden is not available due to what looked like a hamstring , EDERSON + GARCIA , STONES , LAPORTE + BOLTON , BERNARDO , MAHREZ , ZINCHENKO , DIAZ , MENDY + JESUS , SANE , plenty of energy in the team , but whoever Pep picks we will be in for an exciting game , we played some good football pre-season , and as Kante isnt available for Chelsea , i think we will boss the midfield. My community/charity shield attendance record isnt great though , beat West Brom 6-1 in '68 (thought Bobby Owen was the next big thing) but lost recently to the Rags and Goons , so hopefully a resounding win tomorrow will even things up , so i am going for a Chelsea win on pens :)

Hello mate, did you have any luck so far? If not, don't worry. If you go to the Green Man as others have said you'll pick up spares as lots of coaches from all over park there & there's always 'no shows' as people have to cancel at the last minute eg family stuff or just missing the bus. People will swap so you can be with the missus too. Definitely do it pal, hope to see you there

The met office say it's 27 in Wembley tomorrow and 27 in Manchester. I get the impression that when national broadcasters say things like "hot in the South but cloudy in the North" people don't seem to realise this region called "the North" stretches for 600 miles [emoji3]

The English have a warped idea of hot weather. It was 36 today in Chicago, a city mostly known for being windy and cold.

Not that you shouldnt wear shorts and shades. I just laugh when I check the weather report for matches and compare to the reactions on here.

America, where you can experience brutal heat and blizzards in about a 3 month span.
