Now that's what I call a fucking starting 11. Wouldn't change anything there.

I agree.....strong side, looks like we going for it!:) bit risky playing 2 up top but guess we'll have to see how it goes...Pelle normally changes things early 2nd half if not going our way....fingers crossed! Anyone know how far Jovetic is from fitness? thanks

personally wouldnt have played 2 up top and would have played 5 in midfield.......

MP has made this mistake on a number of times now in big games....lets see if its a mistake today as well....hope not

If he gets it right...fair play..if not you have to ask the question why he keeps making the same mistake over and over again surely?
I will reserve judgment until later but i am not impressed with how he's decided to set up. This is what Chelsea want, space for the counter and there will be much of that. Dzeko, i really hope he moves and has an interest today. The reason i say that is because i don't think i have ever seen him have two good games in a row, he did well against Bayern , can he do it again.

Starting with two upfront eh??.Oh dear i hope it is not a spanking considering the form chelsea are in..excited to see mangala though..Navas could have been included instead of dzeko.

chelsea have a 5 man midfield with ramieres, fabregas, william matic and hazard in there....4 out of the 5 are very hard working with fabregas being the only what u might cal luxury player...william, ramieres both work extremely hard and are quick, matic is very solid and hazard again quick with a very good work ethic (hazard and william could caiuse us a lot of problems tiday and fabregas will find a lot of room in the gap that yaya and ferna will leave in behind themsleves and infront of our back 4.......which means kompany and mangala are going to be defending very much on the front foot.........leaving space in behind for hazard and william to run from deeper to explot and also costa.......I think he has got it hugely wrong...but I hope I am wrong

We might setup as a 4-3-1-2. Toure, Fernandinho and Milner in the midfield with Silva as the number 10 feeding Dzeko and Aguero.

That's my hope. Think 4-4-2 is more likely with Pellers though.

thats what i hoped for when i first saw the line up but it relies on yaya being very disciplined (we both know milner and ferna can be disciplined)

it would be very unusual for MP to play a narrow system like that

Maybe he has deliberately brought mangala in for this game to allow his centre halves to both push up and play a very high line and really squeeze the sapce between them and the midfield 2????
