A clean sheet would be nice, for a former centre-back pellegrini seems to have very little interest in defending and our defensive players are looking bad because of it, had the best defence in the league for 3 seasons in a row before he arrived. Look at the state of United's defence and we've conceded more than them.

Jesus didn't realise that.I think Midfield is the problem and the managers tactics.

Pelle should get a clipboard like TT though.

Strangely enough I'm really looking forward to this match!

It has the feel of the matches v WBA in 2012 and 2014 which coming after "we'd blown the league" didn't sell out.

I'm confident that we will win whatever team or formation (4-2-2-2 might be a good guess!) Pellegrini picks.

We may not win the league this year although 11 straight wins or 10 wins and a draw might yet suffice.

If we don't win it lets go down as Champions should: beaten to the floor not sat on our stool having thrown the towel in.

Get behind the team tonight. COME ON CITY!

Time to turn our season around. We have done it before, and I fancy Chelsea, Arsenal and Utd all to struggle tonight. If we could win, and Chelsea draw then the gap would be down to 3 points and then we'd be really thinking.

All i am hoping for is a hugely improved performance on the last 2 games where we have shown little to no effort until it's to late. We should all be expecting a win tonight but i want the performance to go with it and im pretty sure we will get it but please no 44 fucking 2

but they have game in hand, which is big advantage. yes, they don't automatically have the points from that, but that game is against Leicester away, so they should get the points. Whatever is the gap after today's games, its bit of a false because of Chelsea have played 1 game less than City. With that in mind, I think we need Chelsea to lose today actually.

Great to hear all these positives because it is impossible to get beaten by Barcelona and Liverpool at Anfield within a week. And all this because of 4-4-2 with Pellegrini facing the sack for the third time this season. If he had played 4-5-1 and we got beat it would be all because of 4-5-1. As if the system matters when players are not performing.

I expect Bony to be on the bench as he is not the Messi-like player we were expecting, coming in and scoring for fun straight away. And I expect Kompany on the bench as well. No time for howlers or gametime to get your act together. Well ... that's what I've been reading on here.

I expect a win, but not an easy one. I hope for a win with a clean sheet, but other than that I couldn't care less from now on till the end of the season we scrape through hard fought 1-0's in whatever system.

This game worries me.

Every time I see Leicester on the telly they strike me as being a pretty dangerous team (Ulloa, Schlupp, Vardy), who could beat anybody on the 'right' day if they converted a fraction of the chances they create - eg 5-3 v rags

I want Bony to start tonight .
He should have started on Sunday instead of Dzeko .
