Shocking comments those were. As if Mancini doesn't have the sense to have realised it himself later. Also trying to downplay and dismiss the point the host was making about Mancini being a very driven manager by saying every manager is the same. Joke of a pundit!

Hard though it is to admit, Gary Neville is the best pundit on the television. Defended Mancini to the hilt over the card thing

Is Neville really that good or just trying to suck up to the Blues now that he no longer plays for Manure? ;)

Whichever it is, it doesn't change the fact that he consistently makes more sense than all the other twits on there put together, and I'm not just talking about City games. He'll always be a rag bastard, but as a pundit he's top drawer

Adam is a cynical bastard and should not have been warned after half a dozen fouls. Barry should have known better but if there was any consistency both or neither should have seen red. As for Skyrtel, well that beggars belief and i do not just mean the pen.

Adam is cynical in , i've noticed that but tonight I just thought he was late, or maybe less blatant. I've never seen Gaz Baz like that though, he was intentionally late and not doing a great deal to hide it.

Think Barry should have been afforded a warning like Adam was other than that the ref wasnt too bad.

I know, but it was just too blatant for me. Like I say, totally unlike Barry that but he was intent on not hiding his body checks. All irrelevant now.

He was very late on more than one occassion which should have resulted in a booking, all im saying is if barry goes adam does to that would have been fair and please not even booking skrtel is quite frankly ridiculous.

Ive seen that on quite a few occassions against city where the refs just seem to apply their own versions off the rules, remember the penalty against leicster last season was it when its the most stonewall red youve ever seen and the ref does nothing, now it doesnt affect the result which is fine but it affects subsequent games. Refs are to quick to input the rules as they see fit and then say they had no choice but to apply the rules when they want to do that to.

I think it was a shameful refereeing performance, skrtel and agger could have ripped dzeko to pieces and he would simply look away, the foul for the penalty was a straight red, those are the rules....adam deserved a yellow he just got a warning and barry on the other hand had no second or third chance but two yellow cards...it was terrible...

Barry deserved his cards. He didn't deserve a red, he deserved his cards, both of them and thats the difference.
Adam was warned one more and he was gone. His fouls were more clumsy than anything, whereas Barry, (uncharacteristically for him), had a beef tonight and was intentionally leaving his foot in).

Totally agree. The second yellow that Barry got was an embarrassing decision. He'll cringe when he watches it back. Followed closely by someone taking a player out without receiving a card. Another shit refereeing performance.
