City vs Madrid - Alkass Tournament

Just not the cohesion on show from earlier matches. Many chances missed and not the best defending.

City loses 0-1 to Real Madrid.

They were the slightly better team, especially in the second half, but Buckley and Faour were unlucky i thought, when their keeper made the 2 second half saves both efforts were extremely close to beating him. Could easily have gone the other way, but Real Madrid edged it over the whole match.

Good performances from Garcia, Buckley, and Grimshaw.

Brahim looked dangerous in his short cameo. I can understand Taylor's decision to protect him a bit but I would have probably brought him on a little earlier to see what he could do.

I guess Brahim will start tomorrow, it's a very early kick-off against Kashiwa, 12:30pm GMT so Taylor will literally need to make 11 changes I think.

BTW, I like the look of Grimshaw in goal, much better than Richard Wright's son. He looks like a modern keeper. Will he be rotating with the new Norwegian keeper Kjetil Haug next year?

Zidane's son won player of the match, I thought Oscar and Manu Garcia were the best players.

Francis really really poor defender.
An under 14 who the club have high hopes for apparently....we shall see
Christ, write off a kid who is playing 2 years above his age and has been called into the England squad a year early. Some of our fans are morons.
